As a Marketing Operations Program Manager, you will be pivotal in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing operations. You’ll own a portfolio of high-impact projects, ensuring seamless execution and measurable results. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and exceptional project management skills to optimize our marketing technology stack, automate processes, and enhance our data quality.
What you’ll do
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of critical marketing operations programs and projects, from inception to completion.
- Partner with marketing, sales, and product teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and ensure alignment on deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues to keep projects on track.
- Optimize and automate marketing processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and data accuracy across our martech stack (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Outreach).
- Manage and administer key marketing technologies, ensuring their optimal performance and integration.
- Implement and enforce data governance best practices to maintain high-quality, actionable marketing data.
- Develop and implement comprehensive reporting and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and inform strategic decisions.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in marketing operations, recommending and implementing innovative solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and programs.
- Deep expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong understanding of marketing analytics, data models, and reporting tools.
- Exceptional project management skills with experience using tools like Asana, Jira, or similar.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Bonus points
- Experience with SQL, advanced Excel, or other data manipulation tools.
- Familiarity with ABM strategies and platforms.
- Professional certifications in marketing automation or project management.
