We are seeking a Workday Engagement Manager, Managing Consultant with Workday implementation experience to lead cross-functional project teams and provide strategic guidance to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday deployments, project management, and client relationship management.
What You Will Do
- Serve as an Engagement Manager and/or Lead for Workday Implementations, including all phases from planning to post-go-live support.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to define, design, and configure Workday solutions aligned with client business processes.
- Develop and execute project plans, manage budgets, timelines, and resources, and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide strategic guidance, and recommend best practices for Workday adoption.
- Mentor and coach project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations and relationships, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Workday modules and functional areas, staying current with Workday updates and new features.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of Workday implementation experience in a consulting capacity
- 3+ years of Project Management or Engagement Manager experience with a focus on Workday deployments
- Proven ability to lead complex Workday projects from start to finish, managing scope, budget, timeline, and resources effectively
- Strong understanding of Workday modules and functionalities, including HCM, Payroll, Financials, Benefits, and Absence Management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Workday certifications in one or more modules preferred (e.g., HCM, Financials, Payroll)
- Ability to travel as required by client engagements
