Blackbaud is seeking an Advisory+ Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This position will focus on implementing and optimizing Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT for our clients, providing expert guidance and strategic solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.
As an Advisory+ Consultant, you will play a crucial role in empowering non-profit organizations to maximize their financial potential through the effective utilization of our cutting-edge software.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead implementations of Financial Edge NXT, including discovery, design, configuration, data migration, training, and go-live support.
- Provide expert advice and best practices for financial management workflows, accounting processes, and system optimization.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs, challenges, and strategic objectives.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop tailored solutions that maximize the value of Financial Edge NXT.
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for clients, ensuring user adoption and proficiency.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date with product enhancements and industry trends to continuously improve consulting services.
- Contribute to the development of consulting methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
What we’ll want you to have:
- 5+ years of experience in financial software implementation or consulting, with a strong focus on non-profit organizations.
- Proven expertise with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and non-profit financial management.
- Experience with data migration, system integration, and report writing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
