About the Role
Litify is a fast-growing, fully remote, legal tech company building an innovative legal operating platform. We’re looking for a talented and passionate Software Engineer (AI) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered features that enhance our platform’s capabilities and deliver significant value to our customers.
We leverage cutting-edge technologies, including large language models (LLMs), to revolutionize how legal professionals operate. As an AI Software Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, contribute to a high-impact product, and collaborate with a team of experienced engineers and data scientists.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered features for our legal operating platform, utilizing large language models and other machine learning techniques.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality products.
- Build and maintain robust, scalable, and secure AI infrastructure and services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and actively explore new technologies to enhance our platform.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and mentor junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of our AI features.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI/ML.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and related technologies (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI API).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Bonus Points
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a related field.
- Experience in the legal tech domain.
- Experience with Salesforce development (Apex, LWC).
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools.
