As a Math Learning Designer, you’ll join our curriculum team to develop engaging, interactive courses for a global audience of aspiring problem-solvers. This role is a unique blend of content creation, curriculum design, and product development, allowing you to combine your passion for math with your expertise in education and technology. You’ll be responsible for creating courses that make complex mathematical concepts accessible, intuitive, and enjoyable. Responsibilities: Design and develop interactive math courses, including problem sets, explanations, and visualizations, primarily targeting advanced high school and early undergraduate level topics. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other learning designers to integrate course content seamlessly into the platform. Conduct thorough content review and iteration based on user feedback, learning analytics, and educational research. Stay up-to-date with trends in math education, instructional design, and educational technology to continuously improve our curriculum. Contribute to the strategic vision of the math curriculum, identifying new course opportunities and innovative teaching methods. Ensure the mathematical accuracy, pedagogical effectiveness, and engagement level of all course materials. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field. 3+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or teaching mathematics at the high school or undergraduate level. Demonstrated experience in creating engaging, interactive educational content. Deep understanding of advanced high school and early undergraduate mathematics (e.g., calculus, linear algebra, discrete math, probability, statistics). Proficiency in using mathematical software and tools (e.g., LaTeX, GeoGebra, Desmos). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and concisely. Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
