About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Growth Marketing to lead our user acquisition efforts. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy that drives significant user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth. You will build, mentor, and manage a high-performing growth marketing team, fostering a culture of experimentation, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement. What you’ll do:
- Own the strategy, development, and execution of new user acquisition across both paid and organic channels to generate qualified leads and drive revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing growth marketers, fostering a culture of experimentation, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, sales, and design teams to identify and execute on growth opportunities, ensuring a cohesive and integrated marketing strategy.
- Develop and manage the growth marketing budget, optimizing spend across channels to maximize ROI and achieve performance targets.
- Implement robust tracking, attribution, and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights to inform future strategies.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new trends, opportunities, and best practices in growth marketing, ensuring Mercury remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Develop and execute an SEO strategy, including content optimization, link building, and technical SEO, to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Continuously test and iterate on new growth tactics, channels, and messaging to unlock new user acquisition opportunities and improve conversion rates.
Who you are:
- 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a proven track record of driving significant user acquisition and revenue growth for high-growth B2B SaaS or FinTech companies.
- 5+ years of experience building, leading, and mentoring high-performing growth marketing teams.
- Deep expertise in a wide range of paid acquisition channels (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, programmatic, display) and organic channels (e.g., SEO, content marketing, referral programs).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel), CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and attribution models.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Familiarity with the FinTech industry and the B2B SaaS landscape is a plus.
