About the Role
The Platform Solution Sales executive will identify and cultivate new accounts within the Financial Services segment, promoting FICO’s cutting-edge decision management and analytics platform technology, and related SaaS solutions to drive customer value.
This role provides the opportunity to engage with new financial services customers to help them achieve greater success by adopting FICO’s platform capabilities, data, analytics, and vertical applications. As an Individual Contributor (IC) and hunter, you will develop and maintain key relationships within new financial services organizations, identify opportunities, and close new business within your assigned territory.
What you’ll do
- Drive incremental net new revenues from new customers across our Financial Services segments.
- Identify, prospect, and engage new decision-makers across the customer organization including senior line of business executives and IT/technical decision-makers.
- Work with technical sales, product, and professional services resources to create winning solutions, proposals, and presentations to customers.
- Clearly articulate and demonstrate FICO value proposition to prospective customers at all levels within the customer organization.
- Manage a complex sales cycle and execute an effective land and expand strategy within new customer accounts.
- Take leadership of the entire sales process including prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating, presenting, and closing sales opportunities in your assigned territory.
- Meet and exceed assigned bookings and revenue targets.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrable experience selling software solutions to the Financial Services industry in the USA.
- Experience selling SaaS platform and solution-based offerings, ideally in decision management, analytics, risk management, or fraud solutions.
- Track record of overachieving sales targets of $2M+ annually.
- Hunter mentality with proven success in landing new accounts.
- Ability to work closely with technical sales and solution architects to define, present, and close complex deals.
- Knowledge of the FICO product suite would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- BA/BS degree required. MBA preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
