About the Job
We are looking for an exceptional Member of Technical Staff to join our Research Team. Our Research Team is responsible for exploring new frontiers of generative AI, prototyping novel models, and turning them into delightful user experiences. You will be instrumental in pushing the state-of-the-art in generative AI and building next-generation creative tools.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement novel machine learning models and algorithms, particularly in the realm of generative AI.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, researchers, and product designers to identify research opportunities and translate cutting-edge research into product features.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation and evaluation of models, documenting findings and presenting results effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI research and contribute to the broader scientific community through publications and open-source contributions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Prerequisites
- PhD or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning, and generative models (e.g., GANs, VAEs, Transformers, Diffusion Models).
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, publish in top-tier conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV), or make significant open-source contributions.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
