About the Role: We’re building the best bank for startups. We’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to own the strategy and execution of our accounting partnerships, working closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to build solutions and scale our presence in the accounting vertical. This role is crucial for expanding our ecosystem and driving adoption among financial professionals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for accounting partnerships, identifying key targets and growth opportunities.
Identify, recruit, and onboard new accounting firms and relevant professional organizations as partners.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring their success and engagement with our platform.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define, develop, and launch integrations and features tailored for accountants.
Drive partner-sourced revenue and increase the usage and adoption of our products within the accounting community.
Create compelling content and training materials to enable partners and their clients.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote our partnership program.
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform partnership strategy and product development.
Prerequisites:
5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or account management roles, ideally within the fintech or accounting software industry.
Deep understanding of the accounting ecosystem, including common software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), professional practices, and industry challenges.
Demonstrated success in building, launching, and scaling strategic partnerships from the ground up.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
Ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment with a high degree of autonomy.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
