Scopely is a global interactive entertainment company, and we’re on the lookout for a Lead Live Ops Manager to join our WWE Champions team!
In this role, you will be responsible for owning the live operations strategy and execution for WWE Champions, a top-grossing mobile game. You will lead a team of live ops specialists, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging content, optimize monetization, and drive player retention. What you’ll do:
- Manage a calendar of live content, sales, and events, ensuring smooth execution and strong performance against KPIs.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Analytics, UA, Marketing, and other teams to align on strategy, deliverables, and timelines.
- Regularly analyze and report on game performance, live content performance, and key metrics to stakeholders.
- Identify and implement best practices for game monetization, retention, and engagement, leveraging data-driven insights.
- Conduct A/B tests and experiments to optimize live ops strategies and improve player experience.
- Anticipate and address potential issues or risks related to live operations, implementing proactive solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
- Mentor and guide junior live ops team members, fostering their growth and development.
- Champion a player-centric approach, ensuring all live operations contribute positively to the player experience.
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of experience in live operations or product management within the mobile gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of mobile game monetization, retention, and engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for mobile gaming and a deep understanding of player behavior.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
