We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Acquisitions Manager to spearhead our acquisitions efforts across the USA. This is a crucial role for a self-starter with a proven track record in complex real estate transactions and a passion for finding lucrative investment opportunities.
As a Senior Acquisitions Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and closing acquisitions of RV resorts and manufactured home communities across the USA. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of real estate markets, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire acquisition process from lead generation to closing, ensuring all transactions are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Proactively identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets through market research, broker relationships, and networking.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market analysis, property inspections, and legal review, to assess investment viability and risks.
- Develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses to support investment decisions.
- Prepare detailed investment memorandums and present findings to the investment committee.
- Negotiate purchase agreements and other transaction documents with sellers, brokers, and legal counsel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, sellers, lenders, and other industry professionals.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including asset management, legal, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of newly acquired assets.
- Manage and mentor junior acquisitions team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, with a proven track record of successfully sourcing, negotiating, and closing complex transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate markets, investment strategies, and due diligence processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
