Accounting Analyst – General Ledger

An Accounting team is looking for a General Ledger Accounting Analyst to join their team! This is a unique opportunity to own GL functions and impact a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment. The team embraces automation and strives for efficiency while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

This is a remote role.

What you’ll do

  • Own key aspects of the GL closing process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Manage assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring accuracy and proper accounting treatment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting for various business transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  • Support audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Who you are

  • Minimum of 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
