About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team, focusing on title and launch management. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytics solutions to support strategic decision-making and product launches. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our data infrastructure scales with our growth and provides accurate insights to drive business success.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest and transform data from various sources.
- Build and maintain robust data models for analytics, reporting, and product insights, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Develop and implement A/B testing frameworks and methodologies to measure the impact of new features and product changes.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across all data assets through rigorous testing and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and optimize data pipeline performance for efficiency and scalability.
- Communicate complex data insights and technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data platform, tooling, and best practices.
Who You Are:
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Data Warehousing: Proven experience with large-scale data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and ETL processes.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed computing technologies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with data modeling techniques (dimensional modeling, data vault).
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) and experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools.
- Analytical Acumen: Strong understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and A/B experimentation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts clearly.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence data strategy.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Bonus: Experience in the entertainment or streaming industry is a plus.
