Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a department or division responsible for providing a range of administrative services
  • Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources or other administrative services
  • Plan, administer and control budgets for projects, programs, supplies, equipment and services
  • Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the establishment
  • Represent the company in negotiations or other official functions
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures
  • Organize and direct administrative services such as records management, office layout and other administrative services
  • Administer contracts and agreements
  • Direct and advise staff providing financial, communications and other business services
  • Formulate and approve promotional campaigns
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major administrative files and systems
  • Direct and control financial operations
  • Prepare reports and briefs for management
  • Formulate, plan and implement communication policies and programs
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
