Associate Director – AI & Data (State and Local Government)

A leading global provider of consulting services to the public sector and commercial markets, with a focus on defense, intelligence, healthcare, and financial services, is seeking an Associate Director for its State and Local Government segment, specializing in AI & Data. This role requires an individual with a strong background in data management, analytics, and artificial intelligence, coupled with extensive experience working with state and local government agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of AI and data solutions for state and local government clients, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables and effective resource utilization.
  • Provide expert advice and thought leadership on AI and data trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative service offerings and go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data management, analytics, or artificial intelligence, with a significant portion focused on state and local government clients.
  • Proven experience in leading complex AI and data projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of government data regulations, privacy laws, and ethical considerations in AI.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior government officials and diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).
  • US Citizenship required.
  • The salary range for this position is C$201,150-C$334,800. This is the minimum and maximum salary for this position, based on a full-time schedule. Actual salary will vary depending on factors such as education, experience, skill set, and location. This range may be adjusted in the future. In addition, candidates may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, 401k match, and a competitive benefits package.
  • This position currently requires up to 25% travel and offers a flexible hybrid work environment with time spent in person at a client or office.
