Business Development Director

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive revenue growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain client relationships, and exceed sales targets.
  • Strategic leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals.
  • Market intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless client delivery and satisfaction.
  • Reporting and analysis: Track and analyze sales data, prepare reports, and provide insights to optimize business development efforts.
  • Pipeline management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a healthy flow of new business.
  • Contract negotiation: Lead and finalize contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Customer relationship management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving growth.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing sales teams (preferred).
