Channel National Accounts Manager (MRO)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel National Accounts Manager (MRO) to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving sales growth and fostering strong relationships with key national MRO distributors across the Eastern and Central USA regions. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing large national accounts within the industrial or MRO sector, coupled with exceptional communication and strategic thinking abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets with assigned national MRO distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within the distributor organizations.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the MRO channel.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, product management, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with national accounts, analyzing performance, identifying areas for improvement, and presenting strategic recommendations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with national accounts to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Provide product training and support to distributor sales teams, ensuring they are equipped to effectively promote and sell our solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activities to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Manage sales forecast and pipeline effectively, providing accurate reporting and insights.
  • Travel extensively (up to 50%) within the assigned Eastern and Central USA territories to meet with national accounts and attend industry events.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in national account management, channel sales, or business development within the industrial, MRO, or related manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong relationships with national distributors and key decision-makers.
  • Deep understanding of the MRO distribution landscape, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the Eastern and Central USA regions.
