The company is seeking a Commercial Account Executive, Acquisition to join our team. This position is open to applicants in India. This role is crucial for expanding our market presence by identifying and engaging new customers within the commercial segment. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for our open source and commercial observability solutions.
What you’ll do:
* Exceed sales quotas by generating new business within a geographic territory of target accounts (Commercial Segment)
* Focus on hunting for new logos, driving pipeline, and closing net new business
* Run a full sales cycle from prospecting to close
* Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target accounts
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and activity logs in Salesforce
* Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product) to develop and execute sales strategies
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape
* Represent the company at industry events and conferences (as needed)
What you’ll bring:
* 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle B2B SaaS sales role, consistently exceeding quota
* Demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, and close complex deals
* Strong understanding of the open-source software market and/or observability landscape
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales tools
* Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
