We are looking for a Community Solutions Architect to join our team, focusing on empowering our communities.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as a trusted advisor to Reddit’s community leaders, understanding their needs and translating them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Reddit’s API and other internal tools.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and community teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to community developers and power users.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, tutorials, and best practices for community solutions.
- Identify opportunities for new features and improvements to Reddit’s platform based on community feedback.
- Lead technical workshops and training sessions for internal teams and external community members.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a solutions architect, technical account manager, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go).
- Experience working with online communities or social platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
