We are seeking a Data Platform Architect who will be instrumental in designing and implementing a robust, scalable, and secure data platform. This individual will focus on the architectural design, implementation, and optimization of our data solutions.
What you’ll do:
* Lead the design and implementation of our data platform architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
* Develop and maintain data architecture standards, policies, and procedures.
* Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance our data capabilities.
* Collaborate with engineering, product, and data science teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
* Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with industry regulations.
* Mentor and guide data engineers and developers on best practices for data architecture and development.
* Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback.
* Document architectural decisions, data flows, and system designs.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
What you’ll bring:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
* 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role, with a strong focus on data platform design and implementation.
* Proven experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lake architectures.
* Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
* Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka) and NoSQL databases.
* Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance best practices.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
