Dir Client Services – Workforce Absence

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To manage assigned client accounts through ongoing contact, development of client-specific processes and procedures and project management to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the development and implementation of all client-specific processes.
  • Leads the development of proposals, presentations, and service agreements for prospective and existing clients.
  • Manages the client implementation process to ensure the client’s and company’s needs are met and services are installed within agreed upon timeframes.
  • Proactively develops and maintains strong client relationships, anticipating and resolving issues to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Partners with account management and claims operations to ensure the delivery of high quality products and services.
  • Maintains current knowledge of client business objectives, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Monitors and ensures client compliance with regulatory and company reporting requirements.
  • Develops, generates, and analyzes client reports on service levels, key performance indicators, etc.
  • Manages and monitors profit and loss performance and operational metrics for assigned clients.
  • Develops and manages project plans.
  • Works on special projects as assigned.
  • Manages direct reports and ensures the achievement of established goals and objectives.
  • Manages the training and development of staff; conducts performance reviews.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Supports the organization’s quality program(s).
  • Travels as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Professional certification as applicable to the market.

Experience

  • Eight (8) years of client services experience in the workers’ compensation and/or claims management industries or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Five (5) years of supervisory experience required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and make presentations
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements
