What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive the brand strategy and brand positioning for Canada, aligned with global strategy and local market needs.
  • Lead the strategic brand planning process by leveraging market research, competitor analysis, and audience insights to inform brand campaigns.
  • Maintain and evolve the visual and verbal brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement brand guidelines and assets, providing guidance and training to internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and fundraising teams to integrate brand strategy into all initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, tracking brand awareness, perception, and equity.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in brand management.
  • Manage external agencies and vendors, ensuring quality deliverables and adherence to brand standards.
  • Develop and manage the brand budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact.
  • Champion the brand internally, fostering a strong brand culture and ensuring all employees embody the brand values.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies.
  • Deep understanding of brand principles, brand architecture, and brand valuation methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, budgets, and external agencies.
  • Proficiency in market research, brand tracking, and analytics tools.
  • Experience working in a non-profit or international development organization is an asset.
  • Deep understanding of the Canadian cultural landscape and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of driving brand growth and fostering brand loyalty.
  • Passionate about World Vision’s mission and values.
