Director – Global Compensation

About the Role
The Director of Global Compensation will be responsible for the overall design, development, implementation, and administration of global compensation programs, policies and procedures. This role will report to the VP, Total Rewards. This role will analyze existing compensation programs and recommend changes that are consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives. This role will manage the compensation function, including base pay, variable pay, and long-term incentive programs. This position will be located in the US and will be a remote position.

Responsibilities include:
* Develop, implement, and administer global compensation strategies, programs, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives and attract and retain top talent.
* Conduct market pricing, job evaluations, and salary surveys to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
* Manage annual compensation review processes, including merit, bonus, and equity cycles.
* Design and manage variable pay programs, including short-term and long-term incentives.
* Provide expert guidance and consultation to HR Business Partners and business leaders on compensation-related matters, including job offers, promotions, and organizational changes.
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations, including pay equity.
* Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in compensation, continuously seeking opportunities for program enhancement.
* Partner with Legal and Finance teams on compensation-related matters.
* Support M&A activities related to compensation integration.

What you need for this role:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
* 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with a focus on global programs.
* 5+ years of experience leading and managing a compensation function.
* Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and theories, including market pricing, job evaluation, and incentive plan design.
* Experience with equity compensation plans.
* Experience with global compensation practices and regulations.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* CCP certification preferred.

Compensation:
This role’s base salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In accordance with the commitment to pay transparency, a reasonable estimate of the annual base salary range for this position is: $175,000 – $228,000 USD. For this role, base salary is only one piece of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this role may include equity, sign-on bonus, relocation, and benefits.
