Description
As the Director of Data & Analytics, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for spearheading the growth and evolution of our data analytics function. You will play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the entire organization, from product development and marketing to clinical operations and business strategy. Your leadership will be instrumental in building a high-performing team, fostering a culture of data literacy, and ensuring the delivery of actionable insights that directly contribute to our mission of improving mental health for all.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and scale the data analytics function, defining its vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics strategy that encompasses data collection, storage, processing, analysis, and visualization.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data analysts and analytics engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, clinical, marketing, and business operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver impactful analytical solutions.
- Drive the development of robust data models, dashboards, and reporting systems that provide clear, concise, and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Champion data literacy across the organization, empowering stakeholders to leverage data effectively in their decision-making processes.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data initiatives, establishing best practices and standards.
- Identify opportunities for leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to drive innovation and unlock new business value.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics to continuously evolve our capabilities.
Who You Are:
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing and mentoring data teams.
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing data teams, driving significant impact through data-driven initiatives.
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Experience with statistical analysis, experimental design, and machine learning principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex data challenges into actionable business insights and solutions.
- Experience in the healthcare or mental health space is a significant plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics).
