Director – SEM

We’re looking for a Director of SEM to lead our paid search efforts. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth through various search engine marketing channels.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEM strategies across various platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads, etc.) to achieve ambitious customer acquisition and revenue goals.
  • Manage and optimize SEM campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy creation, bid management, landing page optimization, and A/B testing.
  • Own the SEM budget, ensuring efficient allocation and maximizing ROI. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Analytics, Engineering) to align SEM efforts with broader business objectives and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEM trends, tools, and best practices, continuously experimenting and innovating to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SEM specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and high performance.
  • Report on SEM performance to leadership, providing clear insights, recommendations, and actionable plans.

About you:

  • 8+ years of experience in SEM, with a proven track record of managing large-scale campaigns and driving significant business results.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing a team of SEM professionals.
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads, and other major SEM platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in SEM tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads Editor, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present complex information clearly.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving growth and exceeding targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
