About the Job:
Eleanor Health is seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Technology to lead our engineering teams and drive the development of innovative solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This is a critical leadership role that requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and a passion for making a positive impact on people’s lives.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Collaborate closely with product management, clinical operations, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Manage the technology budget, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve our technology stack and processes.
- Contribute to the overall technology strategy and roadmap of Eleanor Health.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in modern software architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and data management.
- Experience with healthcare technology and a deep understanding of industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
