We are looking for an Endocrinology and Obesity Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. This is a full-time, W2 position, 100% remote.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with endocrine disorders, with a primary focus on obesity medicine.
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, including patient history, physical examinations, and diagnostic interpretations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, dietitians, and health coaches, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advances in endocrinology and obesity medicine.
What You’ll Bring
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in at least one US state.
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with experience in endocrinology, obesity medicine, or primary care with a strong interest in these specialties.
- DEA registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telemedicine platforms.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care.
- (Preferred) Certification in Obesity Medicine (e.g., ABOM, CBNP)
