We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Code Sync team. You’ll be a key part of our mission to enable developers to build and collaborate on the web without limits. We believe that empowering engineers to use the tools they love will unlock more innovation and help us achieve our ambitious goals.
The Code Sync team is responsible for ensuring that Webflow is the best place for developers to collaborate and build on the web. This includes building tools that allow developers to connect their local development environments to Webflow, manage their code, and deploy their changes seamlessly. We work across the stack, from frontend (React, Next.js) to backend (Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL) and infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes).
What you’ll do:
- Partner with Product Management, Design, and other stakeholders to define and execute the team’s roadmap.
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members, helping them grow their skills and careers.
- Drive technical excellence, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software.
- Contribute to the overall engineering strategy and help shape the future of our product.
- Champion best practices in software development, including testing, code reviews, and continuous integration/delivery.
- Help define and evolve the team’s processes to maximize efficiency and impact.
- Collaborate with other engineering managers and leaders to ensure alignment and consistency across the organization.
About you:
- 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role, with a proven track record of building and leading successful engineering teams.
- Strong technical background in web development, with experience in modern frontend and/or backend technologies.
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and/or GraphQL is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment, with a focus on continuous delivery.
- A passion for empowering developers and building tools that improve their workflow.
- A strong understanding of software development best practices and a commitment to quality.
