We are looking for an Engineering Manager for the Core Applications – AI for Member Systems team. This is a newly formed team that will focus on the ML models that impact a variety of experiences across the Member Journey. You’ll lead a team of talented engineers focused on building and scaling high-performing applications that drive key initiatives in the Member space.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Drive the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for Core Applications – AI for Member Systems, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and platform strategy.
- Architect, design, and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications and services that enable seamless member experiences and drive key business metrics.
- Partner closely with product managers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver impactful solutions.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our systems through robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Contribute to the broader engineering community through knowledge sharing, best practices, and mentorship.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches to enhance our platform and development processes.
- Be an excellent advocate for the customer experience.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on building scalable, distributed systems.
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering management role, leading and growing high-performing teams.
- Strong technical background in large-scale applications, backend systems, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, Go, Scala, etc.).
- Experience with machine learning principles and applications is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and inspire others.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Prior experience at an entertainment company is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements.
