As the Executive Creative Director, you’ll be responsible for shaping Mercury’s brand identity, elevating our creative output, and inspiring a team of talented designers, writers, and content creators. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure that our brand is consistently represented across all touchpoints and that our creative work drives business results.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all touchpoints.
- Lead and inspire a team of designers, writers, and content creators.
- Develop and execute innovative creative strategies that align with Mercury’s business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering) to ensure creative excellence and consistency.
- Mentor and grow creative talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Present creative concepts and strategies to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and driving consensus.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously pushing the boundaries of creativity.
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of creative leadership experience, ideally at a tech or fintech company.
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional work across various mediums (digital, print, video, etc.).
- Expertise in brand strategy, visual design, copywriting, and content creation.
- Experience building, managing, and mentoring high-performing creative teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A passion for fintech and an understanding of the startup ecosystem.
- Bonus points if you have experience with motion graphics, animation, or interactive design.
