About the Team
The Core Web Experience team builds and owns the foundation of its core web platform, providing critical shared services, components, and infrastructure to deliver a seamless user experience. We are a full-stack product team responsible for shaping the core user experience for millions of users, working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams.
What you’ll do
- Partner with product managers and designers to craft elegant and impactful user experiences
- Build new features on the platform and ensure they are responsive, accessible, performant, and reliable
- Drive technical execution and operational excellence for key initiatives and infrastructure
- Collaborate with other engineers and teams across the company to develop and deliver end-to-end features
- Contribute to the culture of learning and continuous improvement on the team
What you’ll bring to the team
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development building user-facing web applications
- Strong product sense and a passion for crafting great user experiences
- Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices
- Experience building and operating highly scalable and reliable distributed systems with services written in Go, Python, or similar languages
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Haves
- Experience with GraphQL and Apollo
- Experience with performance optimization for web applications
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards and practices
