As the Global IT Cloud Systems Manager at G-P, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our cloud-based infrastructure. This includes managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud systems, as well as developing and implementing new solutions to meet the evolving needs of our global organization.
This is a critical position for an experienced IT professional with a strong background in cloud technologies, network infrastructure, and a passion for driving innovation.
What You Will Do:
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network and server infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.
- Develop and enforce security best practices for cloud and on-premise systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Design and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support various business initiatives and projects.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
- Manage IT projects from conception to completion, including vendor relationships and budget management.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems management, with a strong focus on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Office 365, and SCCM.
- Proven experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred.
- Experience with ITIL framework is a plus.
- Project management experience with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
