Your Mission
As the Group Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related matters for Pricefx globally. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax laws, optimizing tax efficiency, and providing strategic tax advice to support our continued growth and expansion.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Manage and monitor Pricefx’s tax compliance globally, ensuring adherence to local tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements across various jurisdictions.
- Oversee all aspects of global corporate income tax, indirect taxes (VAT/GST/Sales & Use tax), withholding taxes, and transfer pricing.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely tax filings and payments.
- Develop and implement tax strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize tax efficiency and minimize risks while supporting business objectives.
- Provide tax advice and support on business initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and new market entries, assessing tax implications and recommending optimal structures.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations across relevant jurisdictions, assessing their impact on Pricefx’s global tax position and recommending proactive adjustments.
- Manage and respond to tax audits, inquiries, and disputes from tax authorities, ensuring effective representation and resolution.
- Prepare and review tax provisions for financial reporting purposes, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP).
- Manage the intercompany agreements and transfer pricing documentation, ensuring compliance with global standards.
- Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax operations.
- Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the finance team.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive tax experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within a multinational company or a Big Four accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of international tax principles, transfer pricing, and various tax regimes (corporate income tax, VAT/GST/Sales & Use tax, withholding tax).
- Proven experience in managing global tax compliance, tax planning, and tax controversy.
- Proficiency in tax research tools and financial software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Experience with a SaaS company is a plus.
