Insurance lawyer
Location: Toronto (ON)
Salary: C$118,000.00 to C$155,000.00 annual
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze legal documents
- Represent clients in courts or before tribunals
- Research legal precedents and gather evidence
- Negotiate settlements of civil disputes
- Draft legal opinions, briefs and arguments
- Act as an advocate
- Perform general legal duties
Prerequisites:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (legal, e.g. LL.B., J.D., B.C.L.)
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
- Work setting: Law firm
- Area of specialization: Insurance law
- Credentials: Law Society of Ontario (LSO) Membership
