We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Product Manager, Growth (D2C) to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for our direct-to-consumer (D2C) initiatives, driving player acquisition, engagement, and monetization outside of traditional app stores.
The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the D2C landscape, a passion for gaming, and a proven ability to deliver innovative products that delight players and drive business growth.
What you’ll do
- Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for growth initiatives focused on direct-to-consumer experiences.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, data science, and other cross-functional teams to identify and execute on opportunities to acquire, engage, and monetize players outside of traditional app stores.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and user interviews to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for innovation in the D2C space.
- Champion a player-centric approach, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Drive the full product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through development, launch, and post-launch optimization, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
- Mentor and develop junior product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence within the product team.
- Effectively communicate product strategy, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels, influencing decisions and garnering support for growth initiatives.
What you’ll need
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on growth and direct-to-consumer (D2C) initiatives, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling D2C products or features that drive user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of D2C business models, monetization strategies, and player lifecycle management.
- Expertise in A/B testing, experimentation, and data-driven product development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with subscription products is a plus.
The annual base salary range for this position is: $229,500 – $341,600 USD. This position is eligible for Scopely’s game-changing equity program and/or annual bonus program. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The salary range listed is an estimate and may be subject to change.
