We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our Global Mobility Team based in the USA. As a key member of the Global Mobility Team, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide range of global immigration, visa, and relocation matters. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on global immigration, visa, and relocation matters, including immigration strategies, compliance, and risk management.
- Review, draft, and negotiate vendor contracts related to global mobility services.
- Develop and implement global mobility policies and procedures.
- Monitor changes in immigration laws and regulations worldwide and advise on their impact.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless mobility processes.
- Manage external legal counsel and service providers.
- Conduct training sessions on global mobility topics for internal stakeholders.
- Support M&A activities related to global mobility.
- Assist with other legal projects as needed.
Prerequisites:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
- 7+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on global immigration and mobility.
- Experience working in a multinational corporate environment or a large law firm.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and international immigration laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
