As a Legal Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role on our growing Legal team. You’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks and projects, from managing invoices and external counsel onboarding to building out the team’s knowledge management system and implementing new tools, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your work will directly support the effectiveness and scalability of our Legal function, allowing us to deliver excellent service to the company.
You’ll:
- Manage legal invoices and external counsel onboarding, including vendor setup, billing guidelines, and payment processing.
- Help build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge management system for the Legal team, ensuring easy access to legal resources and documents.
- Implement and manage legal technology solutions (e.g., contract management, e-billing, e-signature tools) to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning for the Legal department, tracking spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Support Legal team projects and initiatives, coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement legal operations processes and best practices to enhance the team’s productivity and effectiveness.
- Organize and maintain legal documentation, ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements.
- Facilitate training sessions and create user guides for new legal tools and processes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding legal operations inquiries.
You have:
- 2+ years of experience in legal operations, legal project management, or a similar role at a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Experience with legal technology platforms (e.g., CLM, e-billing, e-signature, document management systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals and other departments.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance) or equivalent practical experience.
