About the Role:
Blackbaud is seeking a Manager for DevOps Engineering. This is a remote role, anywhere in the USA.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and mentor a team of talented DevOps Engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient software solutions.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Drive the adoption of best practices in DevOps, SRE, and cloud-native architectures.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide technical guidance for incident response and troubleshooting.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning within the team.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for DevOps processes and infrastructure.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management position.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
