We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager to join our growing Evidence Synthesis team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, conducting, and reporting systematic and targeted literature reviews to support various health economic models, market access submissions, and scientific publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, conduct, and report systematic and targeted literature reviews, network meta-analyses (NMAs), and indirect treatment comparisons (ITCs) to support a wide array of projects including health economic models, market access submissions, scientific publications, and more.
- Develop comprehensive search strategies and protocols, ensuring methodological rigor and adherence to best practices in evidence synthesis.
- Perform critical appraisal of scientific and clinical literature, ensuring accuracy and validity of synthesized evidence.
- Synthesize findings from multiple sources into clear, concise, and accurate reports, presentations, and publications tailored to specific audiences and project requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including health economists, medical writers, and statisticians, to ensure seamless integration of evidence synthesis activities into broader project deliverables.
- Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to clients and internal stakeholders on evidence synthesis methodologies, data interpretation, and study design.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Stay abreast of new developments in evidence synthesis methodologies and relevant therapeutic areas, ensuring the application of cutting-edge techniques and knowledge.
- Contribute to business development activities by assisting in proposal writing, client presentations, and capability demonstrations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Master’s or PhD degree in epidemiology, public health, health economics, biostatistics, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in evidence synthesis, systematic reviews, and meta-analysis, preferably within a consulting, pharmaceutical, or academic research setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and conducting systematic literature reviews, including protocol development, search strategy formulation, data extraction, critical appraisal, and synthesis of evidence.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SAS) for performing meta-analyses and network meta-analyses is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of health economics, market access, and pharmaceutical product development lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in mentoring junior staff is a plus.
