More than 2.2 million people rely on Zapier to automate their work. This role is a part of the Zapier Sales & Partnerships organization, specifically on the Sales Assist team. The Sales Assist team exists to support the Sales Organization, as well as the broader company, with various types of sales tasks, including but not limited to lead processing, sales queue management, outreach, and general sales operations support.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Assist Associates and Senior Associates, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Monitor team performance against key metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and best practices for sales assist activities, ensuring consistency and quality across the team.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to understand their evolving needs and align Sales Assist efforts with overall sales goals.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement within the Sales Assist function.
- Handle escalated issues and complex requests, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and roadmap development for the Sales Assist team.
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new team members.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Be an active member of the Sales Assist Leadership team, contributing to team strategy and cross-functional initiatives.
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- You have a proven track record of successfully leading and developing high-performing teams.
- You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You have strong analytical skills and can use data to drive decision-making.
- You are proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms.
- You are passionate about helping others succeed and have a customer-centric mindset.
- You have experience working in a remote environment and collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
- Experience working with Zapier or similar automation tools is a plus.
