Principal Product Manager – Developer Platform

We’re looking for a seasoned Principal Product Manager to define and execute the product strategy for our Developer Platform, ensuring alignment with the overall company vision and strategic objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and continuous iteration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the Developer Platform, ensuring alignment with the overall company vision and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and customer engagement to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, and new opportunities within the developer ecosystem.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling product requirements and user stories for engineering teams.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and other product teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption.
  • Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, including discovery, planning, development, testing, deployment, and iteration.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of developer workflows, preferences, and pain points.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Developer Platform, using data-driven insights to inform product decisions and measure success.

About You:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years focused on developer platforms, APIs, or SaaS integrations.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex technical products in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Deep understanding of the developer ecosystem, including common tools, workflows, programming languages, and API best practices.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams, understanding architectural trade-offs and technical feasibility.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
