Principal Product Manager, Onchain FX, is a critical role that will drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of innovative FX products built on blockchain technology. This individual will be a key leader in the Product team, working closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to bring cutting-edge FX solutions to market. This role requires a deep understanding of FX markets, blockchain technology, and product management best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex products in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Onchain FX, aligning with the overall company vision and strategic objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and unmet needs in the FX market.
- Translate market insights and customer requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and legal teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials.
- Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product features and user experience.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the FX and blockchain space.
What you’ll bring to Circle:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on FX, trading, or financial technology products.
- Deep understanding of FX markets, including spot, forward, and options, as well as liquidity providers and trading venues.
- Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance (DeFi) principles.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex products in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to product decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience with regulatory compliance in financial services is a plus.
