Our client, a global financial technology firm, is seeking a Principal Product Manager for their TradeFi product strategy, roadmap, and delivery. As a key leader on the product team, you will be responsible for defining, building, and launching innovative trading and financial products that cater to institutional clients in the digital asset space.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and evangelize the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our TradeFi products, aligned with the broader product strategy and goals.
- Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation, research, design, development, launch, to post-launch optimization.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, marketing, legal, compliance, and risk to ensure successful product delivery and market adoption.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify new opportunities and unmet needs in the TradeFi space.
- Define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product execution, acting as the voice of the customer and business.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on product performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving data-informed decisions.
- Be a subject matter expert on TradeFi, digital asset markets, and institutional client needs, staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Mentor and guide junior product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Act as a key liaison between the product team and external partners or clients as needed.
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years focused on TradeFi, institutional finance, or digital assets.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex financial products.
- Deep understanding of traditional finance (TradFi) market structure, trading workflows, and regulatory landscape.
- Familiarity with digital asset markets, blockchain technology, and DeFi protocols.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to product decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering); Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
Salary Range: C$270k-C$351k Annual
