Netflix is looking for a Product Manager focused on Cloud Infrastructure to join our Compute Infrastructure Product team. The Compute team is responsible for managing the software and services that run every single stream of Netflix’s video globally, as well as the services supporting our studio and product innovation. This includes the compute fleet, storage infrastructure, and other core infrastructure services that power Netflix’s streaming, content, and product ecosystems. You will partner with highly skilled engineers and product managers to develop a strategy that ensures Netflix continues to innovate and delight our customers by providing an outstanding and highly-available platform.
What you will do:
- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for cloud infrastructure, specifically focusing on compute, storage, and foundational infrastructure services.
- Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation, requirements definition, to launch and post-launch analysis.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Communicate product updates, strategies, and performance to stakeholders across the organization.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on product features.
- Drive adoption of new cloud infrastructure capabilities and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in cloud computing.
- Be a champion for security, reliability, and cost-efficiency within the cloud infrastructure domain.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in cloud infrastructure, platform, or enterprise software.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), and platform-as-a-service (PaaS).
- Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or large-scale distributed systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing technical products from conception to end-of-life.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
