About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Product Owner with a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering enhancements and new functionalities within our D365 F&O platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and other product owners to optimize our financial and operational processes, ensuring D365 F&O effectively supports our strategic objectives.
This role demands a strong blend of technical expertise in D365 F&O, agile product management skills, and a proven ability to translate complex business needs into actionable solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, pain points, and opportunities related to finance and operations processes within D365 F&O.
- Translate business requirements into clear, concise user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritize the D365 F&O product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and business value.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and facilitate efficient delivery.
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) to guide the development process.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Act as a subject matter expert for D365 F&O, providing guidance and support to internal teams.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous optimization.
- Stay informed about D365 F&O updates, new features, and best practices, evaluating their potential impact and benefits.
- Facilitate training and documentation for new features and functionalities to ensure successful user adoption.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O).
- Deep understanding of finance and supply chain processes (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Management, Project Accounting).
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- D365 F&O certifications are a plus.
