About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Product Trust & Enablement team. This team is central to building and maintaining user trust and ensuring the integrity of our platform. You will lead a team of talented engineers, define technical strategy, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to deliver solutions that protect our members and creators.
What You Will Do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and engineering excellence.
- Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for initiatives related to product trust, safety, and platform integrity.
- Partner with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to identify opportunities and deliver impactful solutions.
- Drive the design, development, and deployment of highly scalable, reliable, and secure systems that enhance user trust and protect against abuse.
- Ensure the operational excellence of the team’s services, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Communicate technical vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders across the organization.
- Contribute to the broader engineering management community through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in an engineering management role, leading high-performing teams.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in building and operating large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in areas related to product trust, safety, or platform integrity (e.g., fraud detection, abuse prevention, content moderation, security).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and a strong commitment to quality and operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
