Revenue Cycle Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect with expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. This role focuses on designing and implementing technology solutions to optimize revenue cycle processes for healthcare providers. The architect will work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop strategic roadmaps, and oversee the execution of RCM technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of revenue cycle technology solutions, including EHR optimization, patient access, charge capture, coding, claims management, and denial prevention.
  • Collaborate with clients to define requirements, analyze current state processes, and develop future state solution architectures aligned with business goals.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for RCM technology adoption and integration, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in RCM best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee solution delivery, including system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
  • Mentor junior architects and consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the revenue cycle, leveraging data analytics and automation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a focus on technology solutions and system implementations.
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, specifically in RCM/EHR environments (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Athenahealth).
  • Deep understanding of RCM processes across the entire patient journey, from pre-registration to final payment.
  • Expertise in integrating RCM technologies with existing healthcare IT infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead complex projects, manage stakeholders, and drive consensus.
  • Certifications in relevant EHR systems (e.g., Epic Certified) or project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
  • Travel may be required based on client needs.
