The Sales Senior Solutions Consultant, K-12 is the primary technical resource for the field sales force and is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate, the Sales Senior Solutions Consultant must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with Product Management, Product Marketing, and other solution consultants to support the field with product questions during the sales cycle.
- Assist in the production of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFI) by providing technical and business insight into questions.
- Develop and deliver product presentations and demonstrations.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of Blackbaud’s products and services, our strategy, and our competition.
- Conduct discovery workshops with clients to understand their business problems and needs.
- Support all phases of the sales cycle, including qualification, discovery, solution, and presentation of proposals.
- Maintain accurate sales reporting, pipeline management, and forecasting.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience with K-12 Education strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering/solutions consulting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly and explain it to others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
