About the Job
The Project Manager is responsible for leading Salesforce implementation projects from initiation through closure. This role involves managing project scope, schedule, budget, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and organizational goals.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and oversee project team activities, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders regularly, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Manage project budget, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a focus on Salesforce implementations.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Salesforce projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, best practices, and release management.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Project Manager, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant).
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience with other CRM platforms or enterprise software implementations.
- Familiarity with change management principles and strategies.
