As a Security Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our applications, infrastructure, and data. You will work closely with our engineering teams to implement and maintain robust security measures, respond to incidents, and educate our developers on security best practices.

What you’ll do
- Respond to and resolve security incidents and alerts.
- Perform security assessments and penetration tests on our applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement security tools and automation to improve our security posture.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
- Maintain and improve our security policies and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation for security incidents.
About you
- 1-3 years of experience in a Security Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and common attack vectors.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, Ruby, etc.).
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, vulnerability scanners, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
